Walnut Grove Cookery School/ Another loyal partner of ours on The Super Yachts Directory

At the Walnut Grove we offer two levels of cookery course, Regular and Advanced. Over the last five years we have had more and more chefs from the Super Yachts come on both levels of course, particularly the advanced course, and from the feedback we have had we feel very confident that what we offer fulfils all the needs of the Super Yacht Chefs that come.


Although our advanced course is structured, we have allowed plenty of time for individual tuition/needs to be taken care of – for example on one of the advanced courses we had a Super Yacht chef who wanted to review and rewrite all her menus, which we were able to do with the input from the other guests as well which she was delighted about. We have also been able to structure individual mis en place (prep) lists so that once you are back on the yacht life is so much easier and more organised. 

                                                                                    


We have become very proud of both of our courses, as over the years we have worked very hard to develop them to suit people’s needs. Perhaps the difference of our course compared to other schools might be that we are fully dedicated to making the courses as much hands-on as possible because we feel that really is the only way to learn and for you to exploit our experience as professional chefs.
