Cakewalk Launched in 2010 for sale.

The much talked about and admired superyacht Cakewalk has been proffered for sale with specialist yacht brokers Merle Wood and Burgess. Cakewalk was launched in 2010 at the US Derecktor Shipyards where she was built. She was designed by Tim Heywood who based the blueprint on very classic lines.

The yacht has been built to exceptional standards both in terms of technical engineering and comfort. She is not only an outstanding piece of engineering and ship building, but the epitome of luxury. Complete with a range of tenders, which are all stored below decks, access to virtually any port or beach is made easy.

Elizabeth Dalton’s classically styled interior has given the yacht a welcoming yet intimate atmosphere without leaving you feeling that you are aboard such a capacious vessel. The careful use of beautifully crafted oak and rosewood only adds to the luxurious impression that this wonderful yacht bestows.

With four decks, linked by a magnificent spiral staircase and a lift, guests can move between decks easily. One deck is reserved for the owner which is equipped with a variety of rooms including a full beam master stateroom, two spacious marble fitted bathrooms, a gym and spa, and, a lounge or study. There is an outer foyer which leads into a large room which contains a bar, lounge and cinema/theatre.

The guest accommodation is on the main deck and consists of generously proportioned staterooms, four of which are fitted with king size beds and two with double beds. There is also a staff cabin on this deck which is fitted with twin bunk beds.
Guests have the choice of four outside decks to relax on, with the sun deck fully equipped with a range of comfortable seating and recliners. There is also a large whirlpool spa and a bar on this deck. The other three decks offer full sun or shade which are perfect for quiet relaxation. On the other hand, they are also ideal for parties when many guests will be aboard for the duration of the festivities. Guests can also enjoy a wide range of watersports, the Cakewalk is kitted out with a good variety of equipment.

Cakewalk has sailed to the Mediterranean for the summer and can be viewed this weekend  by appointment only.
