NEW FEADSHIP HAMPSHIRE II PRESENTED TO PUBLIC

Following the traditional launch ceremony at the shipyard on 14th April, the new Feadship MY HAMPSHIRE II comes
into public view for the first time today, 9th May, as she emerges from the Royal van Lent build shed in Holland.
The 78.5m yacht will now undergo dock and sea trials, prior to delivery in July 2012.
As Jacqui Lyne, Director of Edmiston Yacht Management, says, “Today is another exciting milestone in this project, which we have managed since the first design concepts were drawn up in 2007. Working as a team with Feadship and the designers, Redman
Whitely Dixon, we are proud to be delivering a superb yacht, custom built to meet the owner’s individual passions for classic
design, sports and adventure”.
As reports on the launch ceremony made clear, Hampshire II features include a classic interior with hand-crafted mahogany
panelling, a crow’s nest for panoramic views, a beach club designed to facilitate the owner’s passion for windsurfing and sailing,
and a helicopter deck which converts to a netted playing field for basketball, tennis, baseball, badminton …
For the Edmiston New Build Project Management team and Edmiston Broker & Owner’s Representative, Chris Cecil-Wright, Hampshire II is the second of a series of major new build projects in collaboration with Feadship, This series includes a 99m motor
yacht currently under construction, and the 77.7m MY TANGO delivered in July 2011, which has just won the prestigious World
Superyacht 2012 Motor Yacht of the Year award.
