SAMUEL HEATH SPONSORS INTERNATIONAL YACHT & AVIATION AWARDS

English-based brassware manufacturer, Samuel Heath, is reinforcing its commitment to super yacht interior design by sponsoring the International Yacht & Aviation Award, organised by leading design magazine, design et al.

The awards ceremony will take place on Friday 27 April at one of Italy’s most glamorous retreats, the Splendido Hotel in Portofino, which is set on a verdant hillside overlooking the town’s picture-perfect harbour.

The awards celebrate the very best in design, recognise talent, and offer inspiration to those who are in the yacht and aviation industry. And like all design et al awards, The International Yacht & Aviation Awards are not judged by a panel. Shortlisted entries are presented online, and voting is open to industry professionals as well as design et al readers, clients and customers.

Attending the awards on the night, Samuel Heath was chosen to be sponsor for the first time this year. The company, which was established in Birmingham in 1820, is best known for design, innovation and quality; with a heritage that benefits from a wealth of British craftsmanship, manufacturing knowledge and expertise.

Vanessa Allen, marketing manager at Samuel Heath, comments: “We are delighted to be sponsoring this year’s International Yacht & Aviation Awards. As a company, we are committed to super yacht design, and this is reinforced by the fact that we offer a dedicated service which provides guidance at every stage of the yacht specification process through our Design Centre in London. These awards celebrate the best super yacht designs in the industry – good luck to everyone who has been shortlisted!”

Each of Samuel Heath’s products are crafted in the United Kingdom using the highest quality solid brass, hand polished and plated for a flawless finish, in a process that combines time-honoured craftsmanship with pioneering design and technology.

The company also offers a wide range of stunning concealed showers, deck-mounted taps with either high or low spout and wall-mounted accessories such as the Xenon illuminated mirror – all perfect for yacht interiors. All products can be specified in a selection of finishes including chrome, polished nickel and antique gold, and can be matched to Samuel Heath’s architectural hardware fittings, allowing for seamless continuity throughout.

Always at the forefront of bathroom design, Samuel Heath’s collections have been specified by interior designers for private residences, high-end hotels, luxury spas and yacht interiors worldwide.
